I play in window mode, and when my screensaver kicked in, it would come back to a black screen; I could only press Esc then Enter to exit and then restart. No longer! So yay.
Couple of bugs I've noticed:
After a lag spike (I think), I can't move. Relogging fixes it, as does a reset position.
I have 7 mails in my inbox. After a while this came up as 18. The next time it was 181. Then it reverts back to 7 again.
They really should come out and announce their intentions (if they intend to rollback or not) in a forum post and not just go silent running.Quote:

If you realise you suddenly have 2 of the same item by mistake, you report it and discard the extra item. Or you are knowingly duping and i dont care what excuse you come up with, you still keep an item you werent supposed to have. I find it amusing how you try to find excuses for it though. Some reason people are saying there is no rollback. Well they would be wrong the rollback is confirmed but what will be rolledback has not.

And to clarify the nature of the dupe mentioned.... It is NOT something you do on purpose, it is because the patch clearly isnt working as intended on the retail server.

I do agree that all (real) dupers have to be banned though.
Hopefully the volunteers someday will have fixed the way(s?) of duping (fixing > banning people.. Just a lot harder :p ).

That your computer can run Dx9c didn't mean that your hardware can handle Dx9c.
I believe I can't "upgrade" my old Voodoo3 (Dx7) hardware to Dx11 through a installation of Dx11 ;)
The decision to drop Dx7 is simple, all things we've change @ the graphic engine we need to implement in Dx7 too. (...and this is impossible.)
The way you handle Dx7 is complete different that the way you handle Dx9. Dx7 came out 1999 and Dx9c 2004.

Most likely you can download dx 9 installer for win 8 as well and run it.
As posted earlier dx 11 support older but do not have all stuff needed to run it good.
So download dx 9 and try again.

From what I heard and know you gain nothing xp wise from all this so xp should not be reverted

I assume it is best to stay logged out and just wait then. And see what will be done.
And yeah I did see how it was a test so all this was possible but so far I haven't heard of any bug giving loads of xp.
Instead I have heard of ppl not getting any in teams.
