He DID explain the dupes nature in another post in this thread. Should he have described it better in the first post? Definately! But we all make mistakes.

And to clarify the nature of the dupe mentioned.... It is NOT something you do on purpose, it is because the patch clearly isnt working as intended on the retail server.

And as i said, if you end up with a duped item, you report it and discard it. Or are you trying to tell me there havent been people who took advantage of this or at least tried (in the hopes of no rollback)?

Every time i see someone defend the possibility of people duping/cheating with a "ban erryone" etc i lose more and more faith in this new fresh start. And im not the only one. I say again, if they dont crack down on them, whats the point in a new server?

But yes, there will always be the kind of people who will want to take advantage of this kinda thing.

I do agree that all (real) dupers have to be banned though.
Hopefully the volunteers someday will have fixed the way(s?) of duping (fixing > banning people.. Just a lot harder

).

Anyways I think this is (more than) enough, of talking about duping..

Read my full post. --> Directx 9.0c is running

That your computer can run Dx9c didn't mean that your hardware can handle Dx9c.

I believe I can't "upgrade" my old Voodoo3 (Dx7) hardware to Dx11 through a installation of Dx11

The decision to drop Dx7 is simple, all things we've change @ the graphic engine we need to implement in Dx7 too. (...and this is impossible.)

The way you handle Dx7 is complete different that the way you handle Dx9. Dx7 came out 1999 and Dx9c 2004.

Is there any information available regarding rollback decisions?

I read about problems and duping, but is this going to be addressed "in line" moving forward or does it more and more look like a rollback?

It would be nice to know a little about the thought process going on

Most likely you can download dx 9 installer for win 8 as well and run it.
As posted earlier dx 11 support older but do not have all stuff needed to run it good.
So download dx 9 and try again.

exactly the same position, it had a derogatory affect on server pops as no one knows if they're wasting their time or not.

Ohh damn. Cannot figure out why they cannot do rollback on cash and items only.
From what I heard and know you gain nothing xp wise from all this so xp should not be reverted
but maybe unavoidable. Well been lvling for me alot the 2 days and all a waste.
I assume it is best to stay logged out and just wait then. And see what will be done.
And yeah I did see how it was a test so all this was possible but so far I haven't heard of any bug giving loads of xp.
Instead I have heard of ppl not getting any in teams.
