How are we supposed to test, if the test server is down?

Edit: Teach me for trying to find stuff out while I'm travelling and a little out of the loop. Yes the test server is intentionally down as per the message on the test server launcher page: http://launcher.neocron.com/testserver/
It will be back once the required work has been completed.

To access the Public Test Server (Vedeena) you need to copy a patched version of a Retail #174 client.
EDIT: Please see further on in the thread. The Public Test Server has been rebuilt to require a copy of your Retail #176 client.

can we get some info on how to repatch back to 174 then or would it merely be a case of individually downloading the patches to the patch folder manually instead of using the autoupdater?
help/advice would be much appreciated. i want to get on and help testing.
As per this thread from Alduin you will simply need a copy of your R#176 client to prepare for the next round of Public Testing.
