opening an ambiguous thread that doesnt really ask questions and has also been asked before and then when the target audience responds the reply is you are illiterate. Hmmm.

Thats my score on this thread.

Maybe try rewording the opener so it is easier for these tiny minds to grasp at and then ask the question.

    Or dont.

illiterate? not in general. maybe in your special case, but not in general, afaik.

hint: i was asking for your opinion on whats the most important part of neocron. important to yourself. as a person. if you feel you've talked too much about this subject already, just dont talk about it. at least, its a free world we live in, isnt it?

Personally I play NC for the PvP.. If I want to PvE, I play something else.
Sure I farm for rares once in a while, but that's not because I enjoy it, but because I need it.

And Im not going to take some test that does not apply (at all) to NC.

Tell me whats the difference between someone who is illiterate and someone who cant read. Your flame was nothing but a mere spark from a match.

Your dismissal of opinions in the thread to others who couldnt or didnt read was equally weak. As for the last two lines im going to go with as my response. I dont feel i have talked enough. I feel you have. Now who cant read?

You are making the same mistake that authors of the test did. Assuming the game is about interaction between a player and the world. It is not.
Multiplayer game is about interaction between players. The world is merely a background for it. NC highlights this point: the world is small, the itamz are easily obtainable, the xp is quick, the clans form and disband easily - and you can be a successful and recognised player without any of those, without ever leaving Plaza1.

NC was nicknamed "mirc 3d" and it's most accurate. It's about interpersonal relations and the game simply does not get in a way of it. NC succeeds when Even Second Life failed because it's world was too big and offered too much distractions which drew ppl apart instead of together.

NC is strictly PvP - but here PvP has much broader meaning than just combat/competition/aggression.

My point is that everyone of us already has dozens of private channels: IMs, FB, Teamspeak, Skype.
I can rephrase it to concern real life: do you want to be very rich or have 6 toes on one foot? It's not a choice between wealth and health.

    no.

question is do you want to be rich or do you want to have a lot of friends.

    i make it even easier:
millions of gold coins = money
communicate withyour friends = social life

so agent L: would you rather live in a panthouse appartment in new york city or would you prefere to have a lot of friends who can come over and have a beer with you?

you are simply being condescending and making fun of it while not understanding the meaning of the very simple survey question you making fun of. and thats why i am jerking you around. youre welcome.

A panthouse sounds awesome. Can I call mine the Knickerbox?

I didnt take the test because most tests on the internet are a pointless waste of life. I know why I play nc, it is to satisfy the part of my brain that likes to inflict digital pain onto my real or imagined enemies.

Neocron has become more and more of a PvP game. I would say mainly due to the lack expansions/additional content. The current content has been there for 5-10 years how can older players keep on doing PvE even if they wanted to. The great thing about PvP is that each experience is unique so it enables a game like Neocron to keep alive.

Not directed to you exactly, but you hit the nail on the head.

I for one am not a huge PvPer in Neocron, it just doesn't interest me here. If I want PvP, I will play one of the games on my computer that actually do it better, like Planetside 1 or 2 or ArmA3. But when I want to play a cyberpunk genre game there is only Neocron, unless I want to try and play Face Of Mankind again... and that game is deader than Neocron and has actually LESS to do.

Or I could download and try Eve again for the 10th time, and quit a week later because I got tired of waiting on skills to train offline with the 196hour read time of some of the skill books. And no matter how much I actually use the skill it wont go up without the damned book.
