I also decided to run Neocron directly, without the Launcher, and it does that as well.
The two exact messages are:
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk2\DR2"
and
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive F:."
Now I coincidentally put an SD card in my SD card reader from my Camera, and the Drive F error stops, the DR2 error does not.
