I don't get why people say BP was bad, I actually loved flying around in that game and had a blast with the pvp (though that could be cos I just slaughtered everybody). The problem I had with it was I always ended up getting to the second area with all the pipping and what not and there was no quests so the only option was to grind on mobs which gave about 0.001% of a level a kill.. I always gave up at that point and restarted.

It could have been great but it was just shoddily done, I always think how awesome it would be if EVE had combat like that, EVE is a very interesting game but I paid for 3 months of it played a month and I've not played since cos I realised all I was doing was farming the same missions, and would keep farming them for 6 months until I could do the L4 missions.. then finally after a year I might have the upgrades and money for a T2 ship and finally be able to pvp.. which would involve sitting there watching my ship do stuff then if I die spending hours traveling around rebuying everything... Still at least I've learnt my lesson... EVE is pretty and sounds cool but unless you want a space business simulator its NOT fun.

Anyhow as for KK... well I hope they stay under so they don't try to reclaim NC, sure I've heard nothing on this balance project in about a year so I'm assuming its been cancelled but if it was KK they would have just released it in a way which made everything worse. Never has a company had so many great ideas and done them so horribly.. NC and BP are the best ideas for MMOs iv seen and both pretty original as well, but both were so badly done.

It's not Neocron or Black Prophecy. It's an entirely new game. The forums, logo, announcement trailer and screenshots will all be ready at the same time and that's the reason it's taking so long. They also go on to say that it will PROBABLY be up next month.
