Shush .
Anyway... hello...
Time to start NC client DL.
Also, I haven't installed the mobo and GFX drivers that cam in the box(es) yet. Should I bother with them or go straight for the ones online?
Righto.
Anyway, getting 8.1 first.
Geez, what a birth in the tenth month

The unused cables weren't actually a problem, they're tucked away in the drive slot space. One can be seen, the other is just out of shot. The rest are doing something but need to go in all sorts of different directions.

I've got the same case. Excellent choice!
The simple answer is that should be fine. The deeper answer is it depends on your thermals, and what fans are connected to it.
Your GPU fan can not be connected to it, so don't worry about that. Your CPU fan is probably connected to your motherboard, but double check.
The best thing I can tell you is devices these days are built with a thermal profile in mind. If temps breach that profile, it will either clock down or power off to prevent permanent damage.
I run two 120mm closed-loop water coolers (one cpu, one gpu) and an exhaust fan from those leads. Usually, I run at 7v since I can't tell much of a difference between that and 5v. I only take it up to 12v when benchmarking or pushing hardware for another overclock milestone.
I've seen alot worse. I used to build PC's for a living .
Lovely looking case. Nothing worse than a case with sharp edges but everything appears to be beveled.
