Default NIS beta - New Feature: Logalyzer

    Hello Runners!

We (the NEOCRON-IS-Development-Team) have a new and more than awesome feature for you!

    THE LOGALYZER

Everybody knows the situation where you level in a cave with your team, or taking part in an OP-Fight and you have that feeling that some members of the team just don’t perform as the other ones. Like that PPU which somehow is not able to cast a Holy Heal on your ass. If there would be a way to check that, wouldn’t that be awesome?

Or you were engaged in really heavy Pepper Park Fights and you weren’t satisfied with your chances of survival. How cool would it be to just analyse your resist skills and see how much damage you were able to take and how much you resisted? Where are the weaknesses in your CON-Setup and what weapons are mostly used in fights?

All these statistics would help you to get better and increase your performance in battle!

And we have the solution for you:

    http://neocron-is.com/statistics

    Features:
    • Get a list of all the fighters who took part in your battle
    • Show the impacts you took while you were shielded or unshielded. Did your PPU do his job right?
    • Show the damage you got and resisted
    • Show your mitigation percentages of your resist, sorted by Hitzones
    • Which Hitzones were shot at the most? We provide an answer for that question.
    • Which character was the most active during fights? You now have statistics for that.
    • Show which weapons were used the most.
    • Show the successful Heal casts from PPUs
    • Show the overall damage of all the players
    • Show the DPS of all the players
    • Export your statistics!

    How it’s used:
    1. Open webpage (http://neocron-is.com/statistics)
    2. Install the latest Microsoft Silverlight Browser Plugin (if not already installed)
    3. If you want to get a sample just hit the “Show Sample”-Button on the bottom left. Otherwise:
    4. Click the “Open Character Log File”-Button
    5. Go and find your “logs”-Folder in your NEOCRON game client location.
    6. Choose a character log file (e.g. Your Charname_00.log)
    7. Click the “Open Damage Log File”-Button
    8. Choose the corresponding damage log file (e.g. Damage_00.log)
    9. If there are no Log Files in the specific folder find your Neocron.ini and set the following variable: ENABLELOGS = "TRUE"
    10. Hit “Analyze” Button! And now have fun seeing your recent performances analysed!

    Since this is beta:
If you encounter any errors please tell me and provide me with the log files so we can debug them.

    Sincerely Yours
    Your NEOCRON-IS.com Developer Team.

    Since the question came up:

WE DON'T SAVE ANY OF YOUR DATA.

Silverlight is running locally on your machine. The tool has no access to your system.

Is there a way of just opening one log file like the char name one for checking char resists?

If you'd like to have that feature I can implement it. No Problem

    Why?
"Ich bin für klare Hierarchien. Gott hat ja auch nicht zu Moses gesagt: "Hier Moses, ich hab' da mal was aufgeschrieben, was mir nicht so gefällt. Falls du Lust hast schau' doch da mal drüber." Nein, da hieß es: Zack, 10 Gebote! Und wer nicht pariert kommt in die Hölle. Bums, aus, Nikolaus." (Stromberg)

Meanwhile, I'm quite aware of that.
But I need not have the same opinion, right?

If you could that would be great, its easy telling your char ones apart as they are ya char name but unless ya wanna check them straight away tieing up which damage log goes with which char log is a bit of a pain and unneeded if ya just checking/testing ya resists

New version online (you may need to clear your cache)

New Feature (as of the feature request from Eternal Pink):
You are now able to add either the damage log or the character log file or both in order to display the relevant statistics.

Additional Information in case you are not aware of it already:
You can merge your damage log files with the ones from other players with which you took part in an OP-Fight for example. So you can get an overview of all the damage dealt.
Duplicate entries get deleted automatically when loading the damage log file.
