Though the GMT 17:00 is kinda early.. for me it is doable though but some people might be @ dinner at that time. anyway maybe put a NPC advertiser in P1 over the weekend or something to get some more people getting in on it?

Also no idea how you planned to devide the winnings pot but if you get several people adding in on the prize pot you might be able to devide the cash between the top 3 or something.

Either way I wouldn't sweat the sign ups too much yet. People will absolutely come, the pain will be getting them to commit to it early. Perhaps you can offer an early sign up bonus? Such as start registration at 50k and make it go up 25k every week.

Also, does the 100k cover both the tournament and the free for all or is that a separate price for each?

I would suggest contacting the leadership of the various clans ingame to try to get some of their members to participate. I knoiw we have members who would participate and donate money and items.

I advertise on the shows, forum and in-game, what more do I need to do? If people don't want to join that's fine but I don't want to take the hunting for people too far.

It needs to be voluntary :P

I don't think even 30% of all people visit the forums reguarly.. unless the servers go down xD I'm just a forum whore as my postcount suggests (ok 98% of those posts were made like 8 years ago but still)

If you advertise in trade and plaza 1 and ooc sometimes you should get people involved.
