i would only consider donating for NC3 only if KK doesn't pick up a publisher and does pick a good game engine that is not a shitty unity-ish engine.

It needed a monstrous amount of bug fixing i know but if you'd have tackled it waaaaay back then i know alot of people would've hung around a lot longer but hey all should've would've could've

You need ideas, just get the Archives of the suggestions forum out, there was a mass of good stuff in there, like when you opened it up for people to create custom skins etc there was some fab stuff coming out (tho as usual people had to ruin it by using it to hack/exploit the game).

I just dont get why you even let it come to this, out of all the communities ive been part of you had by far the best bunch, coders, modellers, technicians, engineers, programmers, web designers etc etc, all dying to lend a hand to kk but i dunno were you to proud to take it or to untrusting of them people.
You should've asked them for help a long time ago, thats all the community has mostly wanted to do since day dot.

Oh and last but not least small idea, make a XBLA type game, something simple like zombie apocalypse but obviously nc themed, 4 playable chars (spy pe tank monk) range of enemies in waves, small mobs, medium then large or something few levels that can be the sights of nc (ie via rosso, outzone, military base, tech haven n so on), its smaller easier but provides a bit of income n you can use it to spread some word that nc exists should you find means to be able to make a new game anyway.

Anyway i hope it gets ironed out and i look forward to the day i see nc reach the incredible potential its always carried

I am gonna reply to this to see it gets deleted as well.

First, my 401k is worth more then Rekktor.

Second, our bids for everything neocron is about 30k, way less then half our startups are getting on Kickstarter.com.

Third, I like reviving dead horses, and Neocron will be the new Shadowrun Online FPS.

so what are you saying? you have money that you could spend/invest on NC or just are you trying to start a flamewar? no offence meant, i'm not getting what you posted, that's all.

What I am getting at is I want the open world that Neocron has and change it to Unreal 4 with new textures and make it Shadowrun online.

You can protest if you like messing around with 10 other people in Terra.

What stops you from doing that??? If you have the capability or people to do so, just do it. Just do not name it Neocron or Shadowrun without licensing those IPs.

Ok I decided I'd try to make some sense out of Jakobes posts, to understand what he is trying to say and why he deems it necessary to do so as a reply to a long dead topic (because saving reakktor officialy failed about 4 months ago by the end of march).

I guess you already had a post in the "interim" forums thate were in place during the last two weeks while the mods updated the forums to the newest VBulletin Suite. Your post did not get deleted because of their content but simply because those forums were temporary and it was announced that anything posted there would be deleted. All of us share your fate so to say.

What do you mean by "half our startups"? Could you be so kind to further define "our"? Are you part of a company doing projects on kickstarter? Please link to those startups, so we can see what you achieved already? Right now only the first half of your sentence makes any sense at all as 30k is about the number resulting from adding up all the votes in the kickstarter thread. Still: You do realize that there has no actual kickstarter campaign been started as of now, don't you?

Still cryptic babbling to me. I still don't get if you actually realy are a dev that plans to do such things or just a regular idiot that doesn't not realise that he is doing a very poor job at getting his arguments across to others. Anyhow: If you are a dev you should rethink that plan. It would not make any sense to try and take Neocron, change it's lore and turn it into Shadowrun Online, especially since a Shadowrun Online is about to be made already.

lol i failed even before trying to find some sense out from his posts. this person has clearly some issues to express himself while writing his posts. I don't even remember seeing his nick name b4....I'm not an Enlgish spoken native, so i could be a bit cryptic due to my english knowledge flaws. But reading Jacobe's posts makes me feel like i'm almost native as a British
