[R#200] Neocron closes after launch

The launcher successfully patched Neocron, however after trying to launch the game it immediately closes. The black screen (client) pops up and goes full screen and then closes.

Error.log contains the following:
free memory: 2047 MB physical, 4095 MB virtual (72%)
File Check complete: 1169 files checked
Exception created Set Driver and Mode failed
Error: Set Driver and Mode failed


I've gone into configuration. Everything there looks okay. Also tried deleting Neocron.ini and then opening up the launcher and setting video settings back up. Same result each time.

Any ideas?

Running Windows 10 (fully updated).
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (drivers up to date)

Ran a full file check too. No problems reported.
