    General

    To celebrate this huge update we've enabled triple XP - see you ingame!

    Technical & Client Updates



    • Implemented item grades - that allows us to create special items that add +10% per grade level to all item stats; - translates to 'Yay, we can have legendary-like items!';
    • Improvements to language support;
    • Missing translations added for German and French using the DeepL-API;
    • Language added: Spanish;
    • NPCs using the "new" player models are now able to wear gadgets and facial objects;
    • Item tracking improved. Items have a unique identifier now;
    • Fallback mechanism implemented for text resources;
    • The language path defect is fixed;
    • Languages use the ISO-Alpha-2 code now instead of KKs version (requires a launcher update);
    • Various re-factoring of the Neocron Code base;
    • LUA doesn't use the internal LUA functions to determine the faction and faction relation anymore. It does behave like the client/server now;
    • Weather has been fixed;



    Gameworld & Content



    • Added a new High Level Dungeon, with a completely new and unique map to the Gameworld. Some mobs in this dungeon use brand new AI-scripts which should make the whole experience more challenging and diversified;
    • The Cavespider-trophy is finally ingame!;
    • Players who have already activated one of the WOC skills can now accept a unique and new mission. The Brotherhood of Ceres is calling for help and is going to reward the successful runner with one of their most powerful items;
    • The Pepper Park Blackmarket is offering new services. Barters can now access FSM items via Blackmarket Terminals in Pepper Park. Access to allied, neutral and hostile FSMs is granted related to the players barterskill;
    • Added 4 new missions to the Job Center (3rd level) for mid-/high level runner;
    • Service employee NPCs in front of the Job Center got a new script to explain what you can do in the Job Center;
    • Vehicle Models/Trophies found their way ingame!
      • Added NExT Air Guard V.1.1 Trophy;
      • Added NExT Hovertec V.1 Trophy;
      • Added NExT Terminator Assault Quad v1.5 Trophy;
      • Added NExT Rhino 4x4 Chaincraft v.3 Trophy;
      • Added NExT Chaincraft V.1 Trophy;
      • Added NExT HH 4x4 Chaincraft V.1 Trophy;
      • Added NExT AT Troop Carrier V.1 Trophy;
      • Added NExT Scorpion Trike V.1 Trophy;
      • Added NExT ER Trike V.1 Trophy;
      • Added NExT HH Wheeler V.2 Trophy;

    • Added a new Mission to the Gameworld, called "Money Man" which you can start in Viarosso Sector 2;
    • Overhauled Outzone Sector 1:
      • Opened closed stores;
      • Added a bunch of details to the area, like new Decals and Decoration;
      • Goods from anti-NC Traders have found their way into the stores;

    • Added short names to most of the drones;
    • Removed wrong exit at the end in the Aggi Cellars;
    • To ensure the safety of all citizen NCPD decided to hire 3 new Nightshift Officer at Plaza Sector 1;
    • [Desert Racetrack] Grounded floating actors;
    • [Desert Racetrack] Replaced old decals with new decals;
    • [Desert Racetrack] Added some details to the area;
    • The Black Scorpion is now visible in the Neocron Zoo;
    • Added additional geometry to existing outpost buildings (such as fortresses) and optimized lighting;
    • HEW Security Package: Gatlin Turret MK2 found it's way back in-game;
    • HEW Security Package: Gatlin Turret MK3 found it's way back in-game;
    • Fixed incorrect "Hypercom" explanation;
    • Former NExT pilot Carl Shivers has found his way back home to Plaza 1... At the bar ;
    • [Mech Haven] Increased the dropchance of "MH DELTA v3 Pattern";
    • [Mech Haven] Altered Drops;
    • [Desert Underground Dungeon] Fixed Safespot in El Farid;
    • Fixed a mis-leading sync from the JobCenter to Plaza Sector 2;
    • Fixed a mis-leading sync from Gaia Mine 2 to Gaia Mine 1;
    • Fixed some incorrect nodes in the "NCPD Manhunt"- script;

    • Fallen Angel Epic Mission 6: If you pick the Gene sequencer mission target, you now get the instructions for it, instead of instructions for the field dampener;

    Balancing



    • Drugs: mainskill bonuses have been adapted;
    • Drugs and potions now have an Integer, instead of fractional, effects on skills again;
    • Ionic Shotgun Cannon & Rifle now consume the correct amount of ammo with each shot;
    • Accuracy of 28 weapon type families increased;
    • Range of flamer cannons increased by 15%;
    • Gaya Glove PSI requirement dropped to 44 (no more re-logging on PEs);
    • Buffed dual resist nanites to be in line with their single resist alternatives;
    • Heavy Targeting Matrix v. 0.3 now has a malus of -3 Melee Combat, instead of a bonus of +3, as intended;
    • Rifle Targeting Matrix v. 0.1 now has a malus of -1 Heavy Combat, instead of a bonus of +1, as intended;
    • Smart Cyber GPU v. 1.04 now has a bonus of +5 Hightech Combat, instead of a bonus of +1, as intended;
    • Fixed starter point allocation of Driver Spies and Tanks;
    • Fixed starter items of PE Engineers;
    • Reduced weight of "Holographic Projector Suit" to get in line with other armour;



    Graphics



    • Added new 'Glass' model;
    • Added new mission models/icons;
    • Added two new flower pots;
    • Fixed various broken decals;
    • Added new decals to the Gameworld;


    Important Note

    This update does contain some breaking changes in the clients filebase in order to run this update correctly you need to "Clean & Repair" your local client installation.

    Make sure you have saved Screenshots and customization (Those will be deleted within the Cleanup & Repair process)!

    Cool. Do you mind elaborating on 'fixing' the safe spot in el farid? The el farid safe spot is currently in the game or not in the game?

    We're not having the source file, so we're not able to add additional geometry for example, so we have placed some stuff to those locations.
