Default Oh my god, is this game still alive!? :D

I remember the first time I saw Neocron - I was in highschool. I remember printing out the Neocron comic (Trevor's Little Game) to read on the bus.
I bought the first Neocron (the green box) when it came out, basically.

That was almost 20 years ago.

I can't believe someone revived this game.
Are there actual people playing this? How's the community doing after all this time? Any veterans from the old days still around?

How's the population, numbers-wise? Low? Surprisingly high?

Wow, I gotta play this again.

Yes indeed we're still here welcome back to the community!

There are folks around from all eras of Neocron right through from Beta 4, NC1, NC2, NC2.1, NC2.2 and the Neocron Support Team era of Neocron Evolution ("Patch 175" and above).

People are playing all of the time, its quieter at some points depending on your timezone but if you say hey on one of the public channels in game, someone is likely to say hey back. Especially if you explain that you're returning after over a decade.

    See you in game.

Gutted for you then. I was hoping technology had moved to a point where you could just run it these days tbh. I guess not for whatever reason. Im not geeky enough to understand why it wont i guess.

do not want to offend but take your mac outside and smash it to pieces, then buy the parts for a PC and build it. Mac = over rated over priced cool guys toy that is obsolete within 1 year by the next piece of underpowered rubbish, stop drinking that Kool aid.

underpowered is intentional incase you didn't already figure it out, same with game consoles(which you have access to all of 10 cool games over hyped and rubbish), total rip off, the PC I use is over 10 years old I can still install and run latest games, figures.

    /edit

if you are lucky maybe you can upgrade your RAM on a mac, woooo... Stop feeding the machine.
