Still range effect on Fusion Rifles

All my fusion rifles still have a range effect (less dmg when close, more dmg when distant)
i was told by other players that fusion pistols dont seem to be affected (no range effect), while i can prove my rifles still have it.
dmg on a cyberhound (1 shot kill) 64 when close, 104 when distant, just as an example... (TL85 fusion rifle)

I tested it today on Cyclops with the TL56 Fusion Rifle.
It still have the range effect.

Playing with a TL73 Fusion Rifle today, I confirmed that this is still the case. I tried to find a damage log in the Logs folder, but I can't seem to locate one.

And now tested with the TL85 Fusion Rifle. Same thing, damage is still affected by range.
