At 00:00h the drone always stops shooting.
There is no real workaround that I know of, other than dropping and relaunching it.
Maybe it only takes minor effort to fix it.

this bug might be connected to the one i posted. maybe pressing/holding the mouse button down to attack/use something at 00:00 causes this?

Not for the drone bug. This drone bug has been around forever, as far as I know.
The one you reported could be connected, but I remember I had it only once or twice in a few years.
The drone bug however can be reproduced any time and every time. It happens always.

I think this is an intended feature to stop exploiters; its been around forever....
