sometimes i (we if you can believe the help channel) got over 900 ping. restarting the client seems to fix this and would like to know why and why. relogging doesn't fix it.
update: 20:29 -- right now logging in takes ages. last time i restarted the client and logged in my ping went back down to 60.
update 2: 20:31 -- it seems i can't login at all atm.
