    Default Heal Spells and Nanites - Confused

    Hi everyone. I am a 47/46 rifle PE and I typically use medkits and basic heal when I level in the field...My questions are:

    1. Is it better to use nanites or basic heal spell?
    2. I noticed that heal sanctum has NO effect on my health whatsoever so whats the point in using it?
    3. What is better to use on self: group heal or regular heal?
    4. What nanite gun do I need to be able to use energy protection nanites?
    5. I notice that a 60 second heal spell regens about 230 ticks per minute. Is this below normal?
    6. What skkills should I invest in to bumpt this number up?
    7. What is a good amount of body health to go up against warbots? Right now I have 840 health and I die in 4 hits.

    Well most questions i can't really awnser here..

    but on the 7. 4 hits is like wow! do you have any armor on? or put points into resists into con?.. cus its not all about health..

    Four full bursts from a WB will spell trouble for any capped player bar a PPU. They are 34-42 levels higher than you, they are going to hurt if you don't use cover and/or range.

    Self heals in general are quite slow (heals back in NC1/2 were quite powerful and any protracted fight became a snore-fest, not to mention what PPUs did to combat).
    The best self heal available to a PE/tank/spy is the tl 40 nanite heal. Even the tl 16 nanite heal is better than the psi options. The obvious downside is the con/hlt requirements and the need to carry nanites (though these can be easily recycled).
    No skills increase the potency of their effects.

    As for the rest, I can't say much about the resist nanites. Best left to other people.

    oh wow..
    so even a modded tl10 jones mission heal sucks compared to nanites?

    A stat capped tl10 heal is worse than a stat capped tl3 heal, so yeah.
    Cant remember if it was 2.2 or a patch after that, that made all items Bellow tl10 scale to be as effective as tl10.
    And that happend not long after I had finally gotten a tl10 heal that could be stat capped..

    Store bought TL3 heal seems completely terrible these days. Not sure if a stat capped and modded one would even be massively better any longer.

    For the questions as yet unanswered:


    2. Heal sanctum heals everyone else - not you.

    3. Self heal is better than group

    4. cant remember the name but they have implant requirements on them.

    5. not sure what you mean.

    6. pump up your ppu and focussing stats, they increase damage on spells. Also get a player made (99% stats) spell and get it slotted. Try to get 120% damage on the spell for the best healing.

    7. get some energy and xray resist and some armour. I think the hp cap is around 1100 health so youd only get like one or two more hits from a warbot before you die with your current set up and full health.

    It is all about resists - Military Base Apartment Complex there is a smuggler who sells ALL of the Duranium armour. It is all strength based so dependent on that you can wear one of the levels. Get the belt from Tech haven and then go warbotting again. You will see a marked difference.

    Unless you drug a PE can't wear any of the Duranium Armor anymore. I think the lowest STR Bad Duranium armour piece requires 65 STR. Could be wrong though, need to check.

    tick = 2 seconds
    29 ticks in psi heals
    14 in nan heals

    tl 10 jones heal = 6.8/tick = 197 total health regen
    tl 15 group heal = 7.03/tick = 203 total health regen

    tl 16 heal tool = 6.32/tick = 88 total health regen

    tl 16 stacked with tl 40 heal tool = 19.1/tick = 267 total health regen
    survival kits will stack with everything....sorta (they do their own thing and isnt tracked on the damage logs)

    so in my opinion based off test with all arti kits, use jones til u can use group, use group til u can use the tl 40, once u can use tl 40 tool stack it with tl 16, and always use survival kits to supplement

    You can stack 2 different nanite heals with the tl16 and tl40 tool? That seems like a bug to me, I never knew you could do it.

    and if it is a bug, it works in our favor because mob damage is insane across the board

    oh, and stay far far away from protection nanites on a pe. they require imp skill which takes away from wep lore, and if ur hunting warbots ur already taking away from wep lore if ur hacking them. also the blue psi shield gives 12% protection, the MOST u get from the best nanite protection a pe can use is 7.6%. thats taking it to the maximum nanite activity. stick wit the psi protection, absorber, deflector......also known as "PAD"
