Default Add VK and TITAN armour to other locations?

Essentially add VK helmet and legs and Titan armour helmet and legs.

I'd have gone with helmet and boots, but yes.
If we're going to keep the locational armour system, then Titan and VK need to be sets (or special overalls, but I'm less keen on that). I'd go with a "half set" as William suggested, rather than a full set I think, Full set is A: not going to be wanted that much and B: going to make farming/getting th right bits a lot more of a pain. Oh, and while you're at it, make VK give more POR than Heavy Kevlar. It really should be the premier poison armour, not playing second fiddle to a low-level set.

What about dropping 2/3 of the bits each time (having 3 bits in the set).

Would like to see more BQ stuff as well.

    I kinda like the idea of a VK/Titan PA/underwear. Like a specialised/unique PA.

I don't think a 3-part-set would take long to complete with one a time, but seeing as it's a unique boss, dropping a couple of pieces seems reasonable (although doesn't that happen sometimes already?).

What would the BQ skull or leg (say) do to differentiate itself from experimental? (Sounds like a good idea)

You're right DJ. It does what I wanted it to do. I wanted the bonuses to cover all areas but this idea is much simpler.

do more for melee. Make you choose between resists (xray) speed (exp) and punching power (melee - new bones).

The goal being to fix the lopsidedness resulting from using VK armor in the locational system? I definitely agree with those who acknowledge this as a problem. (maybe not a "problem" but it just "feels weird", at least, for me, to have one zone protected more than another)

However I personally would prefer that the locational armor gets reverted back to the NC1 "overall armor" system. (this would also solve the weirdness problem of VK and super-belts etc)

Me too Izeo but for now this might well be the easier solution - or to implement DJs idea of converting said items to Underwear (covering ALL zones).

Remember that in the overall slot is quite a different matter to the body slots. The armour here is competing with rather different options to what it would otherwise. How are they going to differentiate themselves from the glassfibre and (obviously if they aren't PAs, there's the question of how does Titan differentiate itself from Inq. VK, as high TL poison armour doesn't have the same situation though). Would anyone ever really use them over PA (I guess the answer is "yes, if the stats were right").

I'd quite like to see more PAs in game as future content. But actual PAs, that do interesting things. I'm not sold on the locational armour thing full stop, and certainly think the underwear/PA balance needs looking at if we're going to keep both.

Batqueen flying kick but yes. I think these would be a good alternative to regant pa by comparison. Possibly a poor man's equivalent of said armour. That's why you would use them I guess.

Alternatively yeah stick with the original suggestion of having titan head chest and boots and likewise for vk. However I would want it to have some kick ass poison resist to cope with the pve as it is currently.

Lets also remember that it need not necessarily be PvP viable to be useful. VK or Titan as a poison/fire PA/underwear could simply be a good PvE item.

Obviously if it could do both then all the better.

If its to be an underwear please for the love of all things sane do NOT apply maluses to it and actually make it a worthwhile piece to have. Or if you feel it must have maluses on it in the name of balance make it penalise a stat that ensures its primary use is for that of pve. Have the titan armour gimp energy resist as an example. That way people will wear it for fighting firemobs and doesnt create an additional balancing headache.

I think that the differentiation between items for pvp and pve would be a great addition to this game in terms of how to balance. Also make sure that these armours do not reside solely in the tanks arsenal but have requirements that (within reason) a private eye can also use.
