New Installer Package

To help people with various technical issues, it might be a good idea to get a new installer going, once the barrage of "modern NC2" patches are over - so 176 or 177 probably..
As well as being an up to date version of the game, this could contain the C++ runtime and relevant version of DirectX redistributables, streamlining the install process.

Sounds great. I suggest you install the game in C:\Users\Public these days. It seems to be the more suitable location and a bit less a pain in the ass method.

Maybe before you do that go through some the files maybe code something small and see if you can find any files not linked anymore to the code and remove them and make the client even a bit more smaller. I assume there is some nasty old stuff that's not been touched in many years.
