With the recent upgrade, the question of allowing animated avatars was brought up by a fellow member of the community.
As this decision affects everyon using the forums equally,
we would also like to let everyone cast his/her vote on the matter.
Disclaimer: Regardless of the decision made, the current practice of our lead moderators reserving a right to remove offending, inappropriate or otherwise disturbing content (including avatars or signatures) remains unchanged.

No! Most animated avatars are ok, some are very nice (e.g. the crahn one up above).
But most are just irritating and take away from the look and more importantly the content."How we think shows through in how we act. Attitudes are mirrors of the mind. They reflect thinking."
