    Default Firemobs damage

I am trying to optimize my riflespy on fireresists and was wondering what damage do firemobs else cause? Energy?

Furthermore, should fire and energyresists be the same? Or should the energyresist be skilled higher? Not easy to cover both resists in a eligible manner on a spy (head/body/legs).

    thankful for any proposals.

Dont think firemobs cause energy dmg..

If its a pvE spy, just go pure fire resists.. Be warned though, a grim persi will destroy you in seconds (or less...) if you get too close, no matter how good resists you have..

The character will be useless in pvP though.

Don't they do Force as well as Fire? Definitely not Energy though.

Don't mention the war. I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it all right. - Basil Fawlty

    yes, yes and yes

i'm using regants pa, heavy kevlar armor with the heavy firebelt, 50 fire resist skilled and thinking of using fire absorbing drugs and firenanites. don't like the drugflash tho.

Don't bother with drugs, they are going to kill you fast anyway. Your best defence is just not getting hit. But for when you do take damage, they do fire and force.
As for the nanites, your better off again just not getting hit and using your nanites to heal with a tl40 tool.

but that goes to the cost of athlethics and resists (fire in this case) to get health 75.

    not sure if that pays!?

You can have 75 base ath with 75 total hlt and still have like 50 fire resist.
Or since you're just doing pve and no pvp 50 base ath would prob be more then fine. Just use the heart that gives like 14 hlt and you only need to spec like 61...And yes, the tl40 tool heals alot better.

edit: as I had said, a few extra points in fire resist isn't gonna get you much as far as being killed in a few hits. The extra healing would prob help alot more when you have fire stacks rolling.
Most of the damage you take will either be from fire stacks or the instant and usally invisable force damage they hit you with.

The best way to deal with Firemobs is distance and a zoneline to duck into in a pinch.
There is nothing you can do to protect yourself from a Grim Persecutor. I do not exaggerate in saying that it can instantly kill a fully buffed ppu instantly.

Eh a level **/30 ppu? my non speed specced tank, can take a full hit from a persi, and only go down to half health.. A ppu should only have a problem, if he needs to rez next to one..

I guess I should clarify. I meant standing right in front of one.

grim percy is bugged to hell tbh, it can take on a rhino and win, while every other mob in the game needs 10x as many mobs to kill a rhino.

ive found that using a sh and staying out of line of sight and ducking behind cover to block the fireballs is the best way to deal with percies, and like flib said, stay as far away fromthem as possible to hit
ingame names: Biglines (dissy spy), Mr Tool (low tech tank), Engineer Tool (constructor), Medical Tool (ppu/hacker/poker), Father Tool (apu)
