    Default [OT] Numerology?

A little game. Pick a common symbol from our poisoned little world here and completely suss it out using the numerology of your choice.

This one I did some of already so I'll finish it here, it's the Chrysler symbol.

    1 symbol, 5 triangles, 6 vertices, 10 edges, 5 triangles = 5x(3 edges, 3 vertices) = 15 edges2, 15 vertices2.

    Count:
    1 : 1 symbol
    2 : 10 edges / 5 triangles
    3 : 6 vertices / (10 edges / 5 triangles)
    4 : 5 triangles - 1 symbol
    5 : 5 triangles
    6 : 6 vertices
    7 : 6 vertices + 1 symbol
    8 : 10 edges - (6 vertices - 5 triangles) - 1 symbol
    9 : 10 edges - 1 symbol
    10 : 10 edges
    11 : 10 edges + 1 symbol (or) 5 triangles + 6 vertices
    12 : 1 symbol + 5 triangles + 6 vertices
    13 : 15 edges2 (or vertices2) - (10 edges / 5triangles)
    14 : 10 edges + 5 triangles - 1 symbol
    15 : 15 edges2 (or vertices2)

    Instances:
    symbol: 8(7)
    triangles: 8(7)
    vertices: 6(5)
    edges: 7(6)
    edges2: 2(0)
    vertices2: 2(0)
    total factors: 35(+4)(25(+4))

    Natural Numbers: 39, 29
    Real Factors: 1, 5, 6, 10, 15, 31

The Chrysler symbol awakens the NA Indian (primarily Mohican, descendants of the Mayans and hired by the Aztecs as mercenaries) wolven astric fighting spirit guide within you.

    1 and 0.
Besides my binary fetishes, these two numbers cause some of the most interesting shit in math.

    Here's a random number thing I do on occation;

Take a fraction and work out it's 'decimal' representation in a base other than 10. You get some odd stuff.

    For example:
    1/2 in base 9 is 0.4444....
    1/3 in base 8 is 0.2666....
    Etc.

    Notice a difference?
    Code:
    1 symbol, 5 triangles, 6 vertices, 10 edges, 5 triangles = 5x(3 edges, 3 vertices) = 15 edges2, 15 vertices2.

    Count:
    1 : 1 symbol
    2 : 10 edges / 5 triangles
    3 : 6 vertices / (10 edges / 5 triangles)
    4 : 5 triangles - 1 symbol
    5 : 5 triangles
    6 : 6 vertices
    7 : 6 vertices + 1 symbol
    8 : 15 edges2 (or vertices2) - (6 vertices + 1 symbol)
    9 : 10 edges - 1 symbol
    10 : 10 edges
    11 : 10 edges + 1 symbol (or) 5 triangles + 6 vertices
    12 : 1 symbol + 5 triangles + 6 vertices
    13 : 15 edges2 (or vertices2) - (10 edges / 5triangles)
    14 : 10 edges + 5 triangles - 1 symbol
    15 : 15 edges2 (or vertices2)

    Instances:
    symbol: 8(7)
    triangles: 7(6)
    vertices: 7(6)
    edges: 6(5)
    edges2: 3(0)
    vertices2: 3(0)
    total factors: 34(+5)(24(+5))

    Natural Numbers: 39, 29
    Real Factors: 1, 5, 6, 10, 15, 33

    Numbers in a parents world
6.30 = the alarm goes off in the form of action figure/book/my little pony to the head
715 = Nick Jr channel on Virgin
    3.00 = Peppa Pig time
284 = how many questions you get asked a day
50 = the number of times you say that nasty evil word NO
10 = the number of times you hunt for the elusive dummy
    7.00 Bedtime
There are countless more but I have to go as for the 3rd time today my youngest son has got his arm stuck in my iron beadstead

I think you are all incredible for even being able to look at these numbers and not have your eyes want to shut, maths just makes me want to sit in a corner & strum my lips
    I've never had a headache!
