Thumbs up So, how's your rig?

    Hey folks,

I've heard a lot about Black Prophecy lately and that you will definetely need a big rig for that. How do your rigs look like? I would like to have some specs for orientation. Please lemme know your:

    1. CPU
    2. RAM
    3. Hardrive Space
    4. Graphics Adapter
    5. Motherboard type
    6. Operating system
    7. Peripherals (Gamepad, joystick, etc.)

And what have you paid for that overall? Maybe I can get my GF to take a share and I'll let her play Second Life in exchange. LOL!

well, as long as BP is not released in any way (Beta or final), it's difficult to give an advice for hardware.

I personally hope, that BP will run on my (little bit expensive) notebook:

    1. CPU: Dual Core Intel CPU T2500 2 GHz (suppose it's a "Centrino Duo")
    2. RAM: 2 GB
    3. Hardrive Space: 100 GB total, divided into 4 Partitions (one for Games)
    4. Graphics Adapter: Intel Chip (for energy saving) and an Nvidia GForce Go 7400 with TurboCache and SUpport for 128MB Ram (supposed: shared Memory) (i may choose which will be active before boot)
    5. Motherboard type: Don't know, it's a notebook
    6. Operating system: Windows XP SP3
    7. Peripherals: Just a simple optical Mouse

For more Details see: Sony VAIO VGN-SZ2XP

Cost round about 2000 - 2500 Euro, don't know the exact price .. buyed it round about 1,5 Years ago.

Neocron, WoW, FarCry, MaxPayne2 are running fine on it.

BUT - We don't know, what demands BP will have!!! Therefore i do not know, if BP will run on it.

My current system is nearly 3 years old, had a few upgrade over the years, but is still a good system for it's age, it plays Farcry 2 very well (Except the shadows look a little crap)

    1. AMD 64 4600+ X2
    2. 2GB
    3. 800GB total
    4. NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT
    5. Asus A8N-E
    6. Windows XP SP3
    7. Keyboard and Mouse

Price... About £800 3 years ago from memory.

Edit: P.S. Aldric get yourself registered over at the Prophecy Network if you want BP news.
