intel is good for office PC'sOriginally Posted by naimex
it does all work good and whenn something breaks the proc. breaks aswell
(so good choice in DELL and COMPAQ pc's and sutch)
AMD Proc's get hotter then Intel proc's do. but they are more tweakable and can stand 'power peaks' better
there are some things called "safety fuses" lol. Just because u happen to lose yr PSU doesnt mean you will lose the whole PC!!!Originally Posted by naimex
think that fuse died a long time ago...Originally Posted by jini
the psu wasnt completely dead, but kinda dead, and the motherboard is pretty fried too, it cant boot.´
but the motherboard has averted an eletrical shock earlier, where an unisolated powercable suddenly hit the case making the case have power, and then it shut itself down for 10 minutes before being able to boot up again, but this time it seems pretty dead.
I like to think of myself as a patient person...
But, when I after a week of calling all hardware producers and computer stores in a radius of 600 km finally get told that the socket 478 is leaving the market, which is why its so hard to get any newer motherboards for it.
Fine, I´ll just buy another one of the ones I already have, the last good board left for them..
I phone a company that has them in store and can deliver on saturdays..
Everythings fine, I will finally be able to get my computer up and running...
Today I got the motherboard..
It says the correct type everywhere.... except on the box to the motherboard, and the manual to the motherboard and the motherboard...
I have to admit I´m getting very very angry... and my door is getting more and more "swiss"...
Throw your old computer in the garbagecan and buy a whole new one instead?

AMD, eww..
Remove it or I´ll crush it with a single bit of my power!
