As far as the characters go did he have another account? The database shot was from early sept 2004. If the characters were there at that time it they would be there now. I've had a few cases of memory lapses where the characters were on another account. I also had some cases where the character didn't transfer properly but nothing with a character that purely didn't exist. PM me the ticket # and I will check into it.

well he used Do0Fu5 as the acc name if it cannot be found try looking for the names Elminster and Dostan'Ilindith and see if you can find them cos that are the most important chars that got lost

i thought hey stop allowing nc1 transfers back in like Feb. when kk was saying that we had to transfer our character before they wiped the database?

Ok the ticket is still in process. Maybe your friend should learn to handle his own cases cause right now it's in the database teams hands and in the morning when they arrive they will investigate it. The case is ongoing. So I don't see how your friend came to this conclusion already.

Because I'm the one handling this I'd just like to say in our defense:

A. We do not give specific information to people who don't hold the accounts - ie if it's your problem, you email us from the email associated with the account, you will be given a vague and generic response until the person who actually owns the account can be arsed to write.

B. The things you are claiming are physically impossible and could not have happened - flat out. NC1 accounts and Beta accounts cannot in any circumstance be "mixed up" when it comes to the transfer.

C. Just to reiterate when the account owner personally emails he will get personal, and in depth information regarding HIS account

Also I discourage you wholeheartedly from posting personal information regarding your friend and his account on the forums.

none of this would happen if all the servers were just merged into one....population would go up on one server....it would cost kk less money to host the server....it would allow kk to more easily watch everything that goes on problems ect....if it was one server a lot of stuff could be solved...

just my thought on it

Im not saying i have all the answers on how it would work out....but having one server would solve a lot of problems....

Maybe if they could do like before....except maybe...every item in inventory this time.....just bring over your 4 most capped chars....

not perfect, but just an idea...

no way i lost to much stuff in the transfer to nc2 i am not willing to do it again and any way i really could do with out hearing another language ingame. i dont think i could handle seeing the trade channel spammed by french spanish english german and a bunch of other ones all at the same time
