Ye of little faith!
The patch(I dont even know which one this is, BD in NC? I hope so ;))will,
A)Do nothing spiffy
B)Do cool things but change the ways people are used to doing stuff, then it would be a 'omg you nerfed me' or a 'omg I cant make creditz' or 'why cant my resser stay in one play for 36hours making BPs anymore?' kinda patch.
B would be cooler but people will still whine.
People will whine no matter what ;)Quote:

I know that in the past, as a company, sticking to dates is not something that you have excelled in! However, it would be very polite, as it is the beginning of November, to at least inform the community of the reality of the quoted timescale!

this translates to: "As already mentioned, you will get all important informations as soon as they are available.".Quote:

i would be impressed if its released before the new year.
Was going to wait until the next one comes out, and then write an article for the THN. May still do, but not certain.

This chart shows how many NC2 patches per month, starting with 105 and ending with 165. The definition of a patch is an individual patch file - so just what constitutes a patch is decided by KK. Dates are based off the THN's record of patch notes
Some important dates:
05 November 2004 - First Drone Theme Week patch. (lasted for how many months?)
28 April 2005 - Patch 131 Activated and tweaked the content added with the previous month's patch. Introduced Mr Jones, the high level faction runs and much more - changed gameplay more than Evo 2.1
08 September 2005 - Pandore becomes Neptune
01 December 2005 - Evolution 2.1
12 March 2007 - Evolution 2.2
?? November 2007 - Faction Rearrangement Patch?
this picture makes me sad :(
I'd not actually realised that there wasn't an update for the whole of 2006, which is pretty odd, especially as the Death Circuit didn't start until September 2006. However Kudos is certainly due to the Ceres Team past and present as the last section of the storyline has been pretty active for that full year what with Reza, Regant, HIOB and Hagen kicking the bucket. Although its a shame that such heritage characters are gone it will be interesting to see just how the new 'On the street, in the picture' alliance leaders can spice things up in 'The Chosen One'.
When the new patch roles out i might even login to come and take a look around a much safer*, much better, much more FA TechHaven! ;) I hope to see allot more action in the streets of Neocron again too, if the anti city can again wander around more freely with more in street combat it'll certainly make things more interesting.
I just hope regardless of how things are done people will make the most of it to drive pops even if it's not exactly how they imagined.
Long live Neocron :) I've been here almost 5 years and i dont intend to go anywhere soon :p
* by that i mean it'll be home again, hopefully not a safe zone as TH raids were awesome :) I'm no carebear ;)
Wow, really hits you on how much we don't get that graph does :p
But anyways, I want meh patch =(
