A new Patch is available for Vedeena.
Server & Bugfixes
- a problem with old files caused some server issues - this issue is solved
Area MC5 (Starting Area)
- increased Solantium drop
- Lorcan, Tasha and Wesley are now able to speak german
- the Bright 'n' Clean Coordinator is back with a new Mission
- boxes in this area got back their hitbox
Seems pretty good, the new noob-MC5.
A bit of quick feedback:
Give noobs more ammo when they start and make getting more easy.
Give noobs a few extra stams and medkits.
Give noobs 10k instead of 2k, that surely will not hurt the economy.
The crabs and scorpions do too much damage and have too much health. The knife I started with did like 1, but the rifle did 26. Ran out of ammo before I could get the 2nd entrails, couldn't find an ammo vendor.
That one line about Tom Cruise from the glider guy makes no sense to me.
Some good improvements, but:
- The font-size of text-message-windows is too small
- The german-language-version holds orthographical mistakes
- Corcan (The NPC) only speaks english in the german language version
- a lot of boxes cannot be opened
- The hypercom-forum is still a mess
- as a crahn member: The coordinator only says, i should speak to the coordinator :eek:
- I wasnt able to collect 3 solantium in half an hour. Al lot of boxes were empty, couldnt be openened or contained other stuff
- when leaving the area, i spawned in a level 3 plaza appa
This wasnt fun at all. sry
Edit: Some issues obviously allready have been adressed with Patch 220, but there are still a lot of mistakes in the in the german quest- and message-texts. Pls pm me for details.
The solantium quest is kinda dumb. What if one noob thinks "oh this these chemicals might be valuable," and then goes around taking all of them, leaving the crates all empty. Have us go get them from some shady drug dealer guy or something; maybe make him a vendor that "refuses" to sell to the quest giver guy.Quote:

Well Lorcan has some issues with the german language...it should be Medikamente instead of Medikamante ^^
Indeed.. Maybe I was under Medikamante when I wrote it :P
