Using the barrel crashes my client

Hey, since the update everytime Ive tried to use any of my barrels on my apu the client just crashes. I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact my glove is still the same as before the update as Ive heard some people say their glove has changed colour and looks different. I am doing very high damage on my other spells and all the mobs are on a little bit of health( max of 30%).
I have uninstalled the game and deleted the folder and then went onto the neocron site and downloaded a new one to see if that helps but its still the same.
I am not the sort of person who knows anything about computers so i don't know if there is anything i need to do to fix this or if its something else.
Please help

Im not a wise man but perhaps u should try a new "clean" glove.
