Melee Weapons currently lack use for slots and most peple dont use them, an easy way to make them more appealing would be to add mods that
add a little of 1 damage type.
For instance: 1-3% energy damage - additional energy core
1-3% poison damage - poison coating
1-3% piercing damage - titanium blade
1-3% force damage - titanium core
1-3% fire damage - heated core
These are just some ideas.
