- MC5 Base Commander now correctly calls for help when being attacked.
Content
- Added new rare Automatic Pistol;
- Added new rare Mini Rocket Launcher;
- Adjusted balance of the Automatic Pistol Weapon Family;
- Adjusted balance of the Mini Rocket Launcher Weapon Family;
- This patch contains lots of treats in preparation for S.A.N.T.A-bot coming to town. Stay tuned!
Technical
- Client.exe was renamed to NeocronClient.exe as preparation for some game recognition mechanics. Please make sure your firewall rules are fitting this

It appear that's still a thing. And IF you do that change, might want to rethink the whole MC5 farming process. This will hinder people working towards doing PvP A LOT

I agree... MC5 Implants as a requirement are a huge pain.

MC5 needs a huge rethink surely now? Unless your in a big group you have no chance and with the limited numbers at the moment getting an MC5 chip is a pipe dream :(

The games EXE was renamed. It might be worth noting that in the notes... some people have settings that may specify the application in their firewall. Windows will prompt but if its on the router/firewall, it wont.

A separate hardware router/firewall will never notice the change in the application name, the name change only affects those that rely on a software firewall running on the same machine with the game client.

Yes, you are correct and I worded that poorly. It is definitely worth noting in the notes as people run a wide range of firewalls both hardware and software and don't rely on just the built in windows FW. I would imagine it could also impact some AV exclusions as well. Thanks for the clarification Nanook.
