This is not about drop rate of techparts, just normal loot.
For reference this is how the usual loot looks for a 80/80 warbot:

This hasn't changed since 2002. Titans always drop 5 pieces of loot and have only a slightly better chance for tech parts. Would you want to lower drop rate for "normal" warbots to make the difference more visible?
I think they should drop more like normal WB or slightly better.
