How are we supposed to test, if the test server is down?

Edit: Teach me for trying to find stuff out while I'm travelling and a little out of the loop. ;) Yes the test server is intentionally down as per the message on the test server launcher page: http://launcher.neocron.com/testserver/
It will be back once the required work has been completed.
Vedeena (the testserver) is back up and running again! Sorry for the long downtime.

Dont know, i used a copy of my working R175 folder. I will retry with a fresh base install..
To access the Public Test Server (Vedeena) you need to copy a patched version of a Retail #174 client.
EDIT: Please see further on in the thread. The Public Test Server has been rebuilt to require a copy of your Retail #176 client.
Okay, i tried a new install of neocron, this worked - since i did not had a R174 client in backup.

Yeah, i would like to know that as well, is he down, or is it just me?
ATM: there is nothing to test on the testserver, but there will be, very soon :) Once the new patch is compiled I will notify you :)
can we get some info on how to repatch back to 174 then or would it merely be a case of individually downloading the patches to the patch folder manually instead of using the autoupdater?
help/advice would be much appreciated. i want to get on and help testing.
As per this thread from Alduin you will simply need a copy of your R#176 client to prepare for the next round of Public Testing. :)
