Autoupdater always stops responding when downloading 242 at 48947200 of 48949017... doesn't get out of it... before we'd just download it from mirror but I haven't found one yet. Can someone link one? Thanks in advance!

The old launcher is known to hang when downloading/patching some of the larger or more complex patches.
if you get the standard windows "Not responding" message, let it run for a few minutes and don't close it.
P.S. The NC FTP server is at ftp://ftp.neocron-game.com/nc2retail/ but this is recommended for expert users only. ;)
