I agree with Rosalinda, AOE has been overpowered for some time.... runners just got used to the luxury... it's now a fairly well balanced group set. Those complaining about AOE are just butt hurt that they are no longer able to exploit the overpowered damage in PVP.
So another well thought out and constructed post about a critical aspect of classic game design is reduced to the basest level of criticism through use of the term "butt hurt".
I love this place sometimes.

Kinda agree with everything you've said with the exception of the part where you say it ruins everything. It's still viable to level without AOE, albeit somewhat slow. Increasing it back to how it was previously will only make the levelling experience more tolerable and in that, maybe encourage/keep new and returning players which is what the game really needs at the momentQuote:
