Str Based pe

This needs a rework. Currently according to tech haven there are no melee pa's cept the regant pa. Heavy is screwed up too. first pa at 60 str, second at 70, third at 80, 4th at 90. no pe will touch pa 3 or 4. pa 3 can be drugged into with the current imps and drugs, but it will fall off when the drugs run because the amount of str it gives is less than the 5 str needed to get it on. They realized this when they made the melee regant pa so it gives 6 str. the third pa should be at the most 75, and pa 4 should be like 78 so u can drug into it. also MC5 str chips should be around str 70-75 oooooooor make the marine something worthwile. currently it gives 1 str according to tech haven when all the other rare imps give 3+ Imps are a different monster, but these pa's are a pain in my ass. please address this. I currently have heavy pe pa's in a cab that i will never be able to use because of this bs.

I think 82 is the highest un-drugged STR and PE can get and that is using the +6 str Regant PA (melee).

I'd love to see more support for slightly higher STR on PEs. Maybe fix MOVEON and Marines (they are clearly broken and terrible right now). Maybe lower the TL of some rares like vein ripper.

I think they should remain an obscure class, but they do deserve some love. The PA situation is pretty dumb.

Its fine now, up to par with tank
my HC PE for instance has 91.90 STR (i can use STR92 weapons) with Herc, Ballistic, enhanced physics cpu3 and soldier s13 in his head, harden Backbone and regant PA, which also gives the same amount of HC now than it gives MC.
I wouldnt recommend a melee PE, but i havent really tried one either, but the new "Warbots Bane" woc melee weapon, which is unreachable for PE, does a lot more dmg than any other melee right now.

I could message you with a few questions if you'd rather let this thread sleep. I was wondering how you use a 92 str weapon if you don't actually have 92 str? Does it possibly round up? I've clearly been gone a while, and though it's a dreaded necro thread.. I am a Necro!

I did not know that anyone else ever played a Melee PE. That's awesome. I found it really funny, workable under the right circumstances, but yeah... limited. It could use a little love. It's a really funny thing to play, and why not? Hell, Melee TANK could use a little love, too, but I've always been fond of Melee PE :) Either that or just post a warning sign for n00bs that says 'Don't do this, it won't go anywhere' :)

its always been teh case for (some) weapons, that you could use them if you were very close to the next (required) level
I also had a dissi spy with 114.9 dex. Used it without drugs.

But since last weeks implant changes this is obsolete anyway. My current setup has 94 str now, and that is with hc pe pa4 and not regants PA anymore. With an enhanced physics cpu2 instead of my soldier s13 (and teh regants PA) you can get to str 97 now. If we ever get a strength glove, it will be a 100 and enough for a ravager.
I stick with 94 though
