Why no new neocron?

Okay so can someone tell me why after 6 years? I left neocron there still is not a single mmo out there that accomplishes what Neocron did?

I just quit warhammer. What a failure !!!!!!!!! (lvl 40 RR 45 archmage)

Raids in warhammer are NOTHING compared to outpost/faction base fights in the prime time when I was with FaNG.

Neocron is technologically so outdated, but was so innovative. If it were to be under development again, and pack improved graphics with an improved world, this game would break records I'm telling you!

All you need is better marketing. People don't KNOW what this game has to offer. They need to HEAR that it's better than wow and war.

Oh yeah and keep hybrid monks as powerful as they use to be. I quit when u nerfed my god-status :P

So yes i'm a developer and of course I would like to offer my free cooperation if the game were to go open source profit model (pay low fee for server and support and marketing, community develops) to help program neocron 3.

I'm serious!

People like faeries too much to spend an hour hanging in Plaza 1 building TPCs.

If you want to "help" KK, try getting a contract job with them? They had people working in Canada, so I imagine they have the forms and stuff neeeded to hire people outside of the country.

A Tokyo II expansion would be awesome...

New neocron with a new engine (let's say latest Epic games engine) along with bad ass netcode, tons of new areas, weapons etc.

That would revolutionize the mmo market.

it would still be run by kk... and tbh, I'm not even gonna try bp cuz I prefer my games to have support (only reason i play nc is it's only one of its kind, bp won't be)

would be awesome if BP was more of an irata III kinda thing and could almost be considered as "neocron 3" :lol:

if you wanted neocron to continue... the basic cost.. of sum of some millions... would make KK happier to give it away...

then you' want to upgrade the engine... to something more recent which also could cost upto 1/4 million or more.

I'll judge BP when I get to play it. As far as NC is concerned, like I said in my post that got edited (and I'll try to do it this time without coming off as a troll) , fixing the bugs and the balancing/net code (updating the game on a new engine) etc. is not as important as increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the support team. Granted I don't know if there are extenuating circumstances i.e. the GM team helping work on BP and so on. It just seems that when it comes to anything aside from the general, run of the mill support like belts getting stuck in a wall or something that it is hard to get things done.

While I do appreciate what Chenoa has done in conjunction with Garfield with the events I think that things could be done a bit differently that would help with the enjoyability and over all experience of the events and maybe even the game in general. Of course, I would have to know exactly what the GM's are and are not capable of before I can realistically come up with specific ideas.

That's all semantics. Ultimately they both provide support. Like I said I'd need to know what they are capable of doing in order to make form any informed thoughts on the matter. I'm not calling them bad people or saying that they're not doing their job I'm just giving my opinion based on the information I have, if I was to have more information that opinion might be different.
