Thinking about coming back...

To set the scene, briefly... Long term player of NC1, left a couple of months into NC2 , came back with a friend after 6 months, left after a month... and that was a year ago.

So its been another twelve months since neocron last tempted me in.

And over the past year, something hasnt been right. I dont understand it, but recently I cant stop thinking about neocron again...

I was wondering if anyone could update me on whats changed in the last year ?

- Ive had a bit of search about and I know 2.2 is coming up, but I dont know anything about it (if someone could link me that'd be great, I couldnt find anything so far).

- Do people still play who were here about 2 years ago, mainly pluto id be interested in. Just wondering if any of you are still around. (If anyone remembers 'SoulBlade' my old char, it'd be nice to get a shout :) )

-When I used to play neocron I was a student. I had a lot of time to devote to it back then, since then ive left education and am now in a full time job. Ive not gotten into a MMORPG since I started it, so how does NC fit around a job for other people ?

-Payment solutions. The primary reason I left. Any changes ?

You can reactivate and ask account@neocron.com to move your char and test NC 2.2 yourself

Some old players are still playing and a few vet reactivated. Dunno if you know them you'll have to log on to know :p

As long as you're not addicted to the game it's ok with a job

Disagree with you there krin.. depends how you reactivate with PbC. i did it trough ideal ( new only banking thing at least here in the netherlands ) in 15 min my payment was made and 30 min after that i was playing NC.. reactivating in an hour isn't long by my standards :p

tho 2 years ago when i still had to go to the bank and stuff when i couldn't do it trough the net by PbC then it does take ya up to a week :p

Spose I should point out, that my IRL friend of many years, who played Spencer Leone, and indeed introduced me to neocron passed away in a tragic accident earlier this year... :(

Well, I resubscribed, paid my sub fee, got to play for 2 hours, and now I am showing as expired again. KK really needs to work on this shit, if my account isn't working again by end of tomorrow, I'm going after a refund.

Waiting for shit to happen is not gonna happen.

Gods I wouldn't use C2P if my life depended on it.

I used PBC and NC support gave me some line about waiting period etc.. I use it for Eve and have put several dozen transactions through them before and never had a problem EVER.

Now it's a matter of waiting on the NC support team to get in gear, hopefully I'll have my account reactived (again) shortly. Was really impressed with the response time from them, less than 3 hours.

Mine activated instantly....AND STAYED! OHNOZ!!!!

Its horribly easy to use once you get past their POS username/password system and actually get your info into their system.

Psst, I didn't use Click2Pay. (no one seems to have read that part of my post).

However, seems NC customer support came through for me! Nice to see that their response times are fast now! +1 point for KK.
