In the second fight yes, in the first fight the tank got pwned. So depending on speed and preparedness, the PvP was able to come out two separate ways. Think of the first fight as the Tank getting jumped with only a CS on him, and the second fight he happened to have his trusty Thunderbolt ;)Quote:

true, its an advantage that apus have, but then again, apus would not be overpowered with that advantadge if not for the ways ppus interacted with them.
You don't even need to keep your crosshairs on them when playing an APU. Atm it's all about good timing and clicking for the split second that your crosshair moves over themQuote:

You still only need to aim at the for the start of the burst, or not for very long at least.
I play both apu hybrid and xbow pe. It's a world of difference, the hybrid caps his tl10 heal, gets better defence than the pe (massive poisonresists too) and on top of that he has the use of point and click weapons, aoe (multibolts) lightningfast db, all possible dammagetypes as weapons, and last but not least the antishelter/nibshelter combo.
Plus when on two drugs i hack 110 also.
Oh and if i specced 67implant instead i'd be able to reimp one chip and cast a resurection.

Solo APUs are in no way a reference to anything.
They have insane damage output and no defense.
why should we even take them into consideration ?
If like you say the 'problem' is the incidence PPU have on apus, then it is necessary to review the APU itself.

Again, you can't pin how overpowered a class is on one thing. You could equally say that DB makes pistol PEs overpowered, or the skill changes that took them from being reasonably balanced to too powerful.
Remove S/D from PEs and you have to completely rework them to an even greater extent. Think about where they fall in the offence/defence lineup.
Defence:
PE > Tank > Spy > APU
Offence:
PE < Tank < Spy < APU
Remove S/D and you then either have to rework PEs so their armour/hp values are even greater than the tank, or increase their offence so that they are closer to the spy. Which then knocks the whole intended lineup out of whack.
What we need are item, skill mechanics and weapon changes.
On the topic, APUs should be as playable solo as any class, so they really need a heal equivalent.
