It has been forever since I played this, I check on it once a year or so, and some names I recognize are still around. How many people still play and does it still crash alot?

Neocron is like that ex-girlfriend, who even after a decade you are still stalking her and comparing other girls to her.

So whats the server populations like now, around 50 or 100?

alot changed. you should have a good nose around the forums. theres plenty of info on it all. fresh server new start. patches. wonderful dev team. etc. great time to start playing again.

Shortie... made my very first rare. A 1 slotted Cursed Soul. Nearly 10 years to do the day infact.

the post you quoted was in march 2012. Back then it was around 10-30 PLAYERS. Terra was a festering cesspool of corruption and filth back then.

i used to play this game along time ago when i was 13-15 years old. i think i was in a clan called NDA??

i played with some guys named skiz0rs, clitoris, olord, and sage.

dl'ing this game now and looking forward to playing it :^]

Used to play on Saturn back in college; New Dawn, Cartel, Templars, etc. with Ele, Divide, etc. Anyone from Saturn still play? DLing now to get my neocrack fix.

But to the point: Holy shit there's many vets still around! Hope to see you all ingame. I also started couple weeks ago and am finding NC quite amusing and interesting.

Still really think NC1 was alot better, still miss the good ol' times at pluto :)

Blimey, it has been a while - so long that the email host I had for my old account doesn't even exist any more so I guess what 8-9 years? (My memory is rusty!). I played Neocron at launch all the way up to Neocron2 when I got sidelined IRL with making my own videogames :)

Cool to see it is still here, thinking of dusting off my gloves and checking it out again. I was just listening to the original music by Steve Roach and Max Corbacho and thinking how cool it is :)

Used to play a Tank named Michael Dane on Pluto during the NC1 days.. once NC2 hit I kinda lost interest cause it sucked.

But for some reason my old account says it's been permabanned for no reason so that's pretty odd. I'm currently playing Defiance (made an OT thread but it was deleted.. lol). It's pretty cool, gives me a Neocron vibe, check it out if you get the chance.

Back from the dead.. last login 2006, oh my lord.

Never thought this old gem would be free, ran back like a kid on christmas when I heard it was.

Used to play on Pluto in NDA back in the days, downloading the client again now.
