If you think there wont be any major updates until DoY then I think you may need some sort of CAT or DOG or other furry mammal type scaning device pointed at your pointy pointdexter dead, yo... Mainly because I doubt there will be any major updates in/after DoY... sure... DoY itself could be seen as an "update" but I fail to believe that since its really a "back-order" of everything that should have been anyway... so... imo... not an update...

Sure, I may be a negative bastard with nothing to truely contribute, but... umm... yeah... well... I do have SOMETHING to contribute... sadly it is far to early in the morning to remember what that something is beyond something I think we all know I, as well as everyone else here, could contribute that does infact involve certain bits that are located in a certain generic region of space... yes... Its so funny to hear these ppl say... "September? Well then Im leaving this game" but the funny thing about that is....this is the only MMO that is FPS based. So what exactly are you ppl going to "run off to". If someone argues with me that this is not the only FPS MMO, and use PlanetSide as an example I will hunt them down and shoot them....Planet Side is nthing but Tribes on crack.

So like I said, what are you "disgruntled" ppl going to run off to?

well i am very very good at ut2k4 so i'll play that for fps needs, for relaxation / chilling out, i dont know, but i am dloading the ryzom beta so i'll give that a go to start with

Planetside is a perfectly good mmofps.

It's a mmo version of tribes, with some new ideas.

If it was easier to organise and get squads, I'd probably go back to it.

PlanetSide is great, except for one thing, you've done it all in about 4 days. It is Repetitive.

As apposed to NC, you've done it all in about 4 months.

HAHA just notice this thread. I love all u KK ceo's. for releasing a actual date. :D just hope their is no delays ;) just keep up witht he good work.

i seen wow and i hate the game play and so many other games. NC is the only game that is unq in game play as i seen Planet side still doesnt meet my rpg standards. i love story lines. and wow is not coming till a year too :) its still in beta testing.

Tbh after everything being said i am scared to say boo to a goose without Nid gettin his banhammer out (lol joke, luv ya niddykins)

I must say i am abolutely astonished at the language and the abuse that has been thrown about in this thread. There are ways to get your point across and i dont think that some people quite have the knack of that quite yet. ;)

As for the release date, thankyou. I know it was supposed to come with retail, then april '03 and then now, and a couple of months time, blah blah blah. But we have a release date now. It wont be changed, so unfortunately all of everyones moans (put the banhammer down Nid!) are not goin to help.

Please be patient, i know all of you can, you have been so far, or you wouldnt be here now still :)

P.S I think im a good candidate for beta testing cos im a girl, and as all you guys know, we girls can pick holes in anything :p

Edit---- to be honest i was asked to work at blizzard as a beta tester. or atleast aply. problem is i dont live in irvine anymore or i would totally take a app. and run on down (via-Email:)

o and on a side note am at school with a beta tester right now :) we take the same computer classes. so ha... :)

its more like 9-11 bucks a hour to be a beta tester i think he said. but he makes 15 a hour so who knows.

u only get tigers and lions in kenya.... seen it and its anoyying.

It must have changed a LOT then in the last 3 or 4 years since a mate of mine was working for them then as a tester. He was on 9K salaried and not paid for overtime. That would now be considered illegal under the minimum wage law.

Games companies are notorious for shitty pay so I'm curious where your info comes from and if it's true why they do things so differently.
