I drew my new char today! :)

Her name is Antimony Jones and she's a (temporarily) Crahn monk who predominatly uses poison! I don't really like the way it came out (there's a lot of anatomy issues) but I do like the outfit :) I tried to make it part gypsy/part prehistoric/part preacher with a touch of sexiness and a little bit of poison!

I was reading the information stuff about the brotherhood of crahn and it doesn't say much about the actual religion. All it says is the main focus, that they're awaiting the return of their former leader, but nothing else. Maybe someone would like to expand upon the religion and flesh it out? Maybe a set of commandments and rules?

PS - a few people sent me PMs asking me to clarify some stuff about my tutorial :) Most of you guys didn't have any more questions so I'm assuming you've got it all figured out... Post your stuff please! :)

PPS - Cerbious I really like your picture, it's totally amazing for the first thing like that you've ever tried (and still really really really good if you're a well-seasoned doodler)

I mean in the waxstes there a lot of Hazards like: Skorpions, Glaspartikels, Old Medicinparts, sharp stones.... ;)

the doddle im afraid i cant take credit for as i found that on the web but i did need to do alot of work to it as it was a extremly messy scetch.

i wanna make my own artwork but i got to wait til i can rob my scanner from my parents house.

the pic was mainly me using ur tutorial :)

new and unique clothing should be a not problem in this period of time..

Thanks for the very nice comments :) It really means a lot to me! But this isn't a 'Sunny's Art Thread', it's a thread for everyone to show everyone else how they interpret stuff in NC, so stop commenting and start doodling! :)

I decided that I didn't like monks much, and plus my levelingbuddy outleveled me by like 70 psi, so I decided to remake Antimony Jones into a pure hacknet-hacker! :)

I don't really like the way I ended up doing the hair, and the pelvic area seems really wacky but I think it came out to be pretty good overall :)

Food for thought! What exactly is hacknet? is it 'suspending' yourself in the genrep process? an internet-like thing? Dicuss! :)

that a really good interpetation of hacknet there sunny. Though when i first glanced it it looked like a greek pot (the red orange and hair style) not a critism though :)

uh..i believe hacknet is a visual representation of the genrep/internet system of neocron. so what you see as hacknet isnt really there its just made to look that way to be comprehnsible by slightly above normal ability hackers

I tried to draw my private char as an FA, and not a TS like last time, but it didn't come out as good as I thought it would when I first drawing it! I think the hair's a bit overdramatic but it's really the first hairstyle that I've done that was loosely based on the ones that are available ingame :)

I like the idea but I don't really like how I pulled it off. I'll probably end up redoing it sometime in the future.

(PS - the hand was supposed to be gripping the underside of a banister but everything in DoY is so short! It looks so weird!)

What will it take for you guys to post more of your stuff? :) I'm sure I'm not the only one in the game who would prefer to see things different visually in NC... :(

I just have a small comment to Sunny. I really like your drawing, I like the style,
but I must comment on the shading. You are trying to "cheat" with shading by
trying to automate the process, it often leaves your chars looking glossy like they
are covered in grease.

I'm not going to say that I can do it better, because I cant, I suck at drawing,
but you should try to do the shading by hand a few times, it might take some
extra work but your drawings will look alot better.

Don't take this as flaming, because I'm not trying to have a go at you.

I love these new ones you put out, Sunny.

Man.. Your "technopunk" fashion couture has such cool stylishness! I love it. I'm having a difficult time trying to come up with a cohesive clothing style for my characters, but at least I've got a couple.

Hopefully, I'll be able to put a couple up of my latest soon. (Drawing only, I haven't had any time for the Gimp cool-ific-ation process)

edit - I think I understand what you're talking about. Specularity (gloss spots) does seem a bit wide and circular. Highlights on clothes generally are less that and more like crescents (following body's curves).
