Just thought I'd stop by and see what the state of the game was. I didn't even know if it was still around, to be honest. I'm thinking about checking it out again, or at least checking out this 2.1 thing. I left originally because of the lack of content (I can only kill so many rats!), but the feel of the game has stuck with me all these years. From reading the forums, it doesn't sound like there's too many people playing though.

Hello all. Not sure if anyone remembers me, I haven't been around anything Neocron for years. My character, Devon Marek was an expert in research and constructon, if you needed it I could build it. I left because stat increases for constructors/researchers was painfully slow if not non-existant, while if you killed you got massive increase. Didn't like the fact that you were punished for doing something other than fighting.
Just wanted to say hi.
The game has stuck with me for many years, despite my issues with it, it was still a unique game.
Which server did you play? I seem to remember you from the days I used to hang out in plaza 1 ontop of the lamp posts shouting abuse at people/tradeing.

For the life of me I can't remember, it's been soooo long. Pluto rings a bell though. Does sound very familiar though, the Plaza is where I used to trade, just in front of the tech shop on the corner. I usually had a little queue of people looking to buy. :)Quote:

Also I have EVERYTHING away, money, implants, equipment, apartments. So I would have to start from scratch. Which wouldn't be easy I guess given how few people play it seems.
You can email accounts and check but I seriously doubt your account is still around :( that said I would be prepared to help you as i'm sure other peeps would be if you decided to re-activate?

Well, thanks to Dragosani over at City of Heroes, I've come back here for a look around. :)
Been a while, so long my old forum account won't even let me post anymore. I used to play on Terra with two main characters, Menome and Spider Jerusalem, and I attempted to set up the 'impartial' news service "NewsNet".
And as I can't view the General Discussion anymore, are the 'Jake Hard' stories still going? :D
If you didnt delete your characters, they should still be there. Afaik KK never actually deleted inactive accounts even tho the info says that after 3 (or so) months it is not guaranteed that your character will still be there.Quote:

As much as Neocron frustrated me with his lacklusters development and broken promises it still holds a very special place in my MMORPG heart. Honestly one of the better PvP experiences I've had (excluding UO and FRE/Sync Bugs). It's really too bad the game was dragged through the mud by such incompetence.
Hopefully one day there will be spiritual successor of sorts to Neocron.
If any of those old names wanna get in contact just drop me a PM and request an IRC/MSN/AIM/Porn-Name.

I quit playing after the second beta, duno what the game turned out like - it's nice to see some of the old nicks though :D
