Thanks for your short notification. I guess you were on a promotion tour for Black Prophecy. Personally I see many improvements with species war 2.2 patch - good job and best success also for the us launch.

Yes there is a bad run of communication in comparison to some devs (CCP and Blizzard being 2 good examples) but also there is a history of getting burnt by over promising. MJS made this mistake with Doy. it was originally supposed to hit 3 to 6 months after retail launch (september 02 i believe) and kept stalling.
Given all the recent happenings of late with BP and the insolvency etc etc and the ongoing battle to get things workng here despite a skeleton team i think we all need to take a step back, a big deep breath and realise that we are still quite lucky there is even an NC.
so put the pitchforks and pillowcases down boys. there aint gonna be a hangin today :)
just bide your time. soak up whats left of the european summer (or embrace the coming summer like me if your in the southern hemisphere ) and just chill out and let the man do his job of running the company and he will, in time, provide answers. the constant badgering wont get anywhere.

First of all, Kirk thanks for dropping in and giving us that little update, even if it's isn't what we want to hear. The main thing is you are posting and communicating in some way, which is good.
I've done a small summary on the THN on the "Dear KK (Kirk)" thread - http://www.techhaven.org/neocron/new...ry-so-far.html If anyone thinks something is missing or incorrect, please let me know. And yes I'm am being ambitious in hoping Kirk will respond to the questions within a week!
Doc - I think it's fair to say KK have never had a good track record of getting their dates right. Even BP was quite late, although insolvency did play some part in that.
Commications - CCP seems to be a good example of how to communicate, even I don't play EvE, I still enjoy reading their blogs. Also perhaps the devs of Minecraft is another good example, they do use Twitter a lot and it seems to work for them, even if some of their releases have been spectacularly buggy!
Anyway, this weekend I've got a load of sport to follow to keep me away from here. Football tonight, Rugby tomorrow and the F1 over the weekend!
