Also, none of that stupid shit like Global Agenda with all the armor being appearance only. Totally stupid.

its not actually, its just that there's two types, u got the appearance stuff, and actual armour which can be modded/changed. Means you can modify how u like (just like we all want in nc), while being able to modify the resistance of the armour underneath.Quote:

The problem is that the non-appearance armor is just numbers. You have to pay credits just to make a couple numbers slightly bigger. It makes perfect sense and all, I just don't like it. =cQuote:

On armour, i dont know why each piece cant show, rather than having special armours that show/ reflect your class.
You mean like how things like inquisition armor do nothing to appearance?
If so, I agree that that should be visible.
I think maybe like a three/four tier system would be cool; the higher tier takes priority over lower tear. (I said three/four since under-armor and PA currently use the same slot, but would appear on different levels visually)
Tier 4: Power Armor
Tier 3: basic armor
Tier 2: Under-armor
Tier 1: normal clothes
For example: First, you appear as how you select in character creation and the clothes-choice terminal.
Then, if you put on an under-armor, it appears over your clothes, but maybe with some clothes still showing.
Then, if you put on some basic armor, that appears over your normal clothes and any equipped under-armor.
Then, power armor completely covers up everything else.
Alternatively, normal clothes and under-armor can be switched so that under-armor appears beneath normal clothes, and normal clothes get replaced by basic armor when equipped, which replaces the texture of the corresponding clothes with a an otherwise unselectable texture.
Remind me to look this over this when I'm sober.
Certainly it would add a lot to the game to be able to customise thenway you look and show off your flashy new armour like in games such as fallout3 oblivion and mass effect
Exactly Flib.
kinda like neo-ultima online :)
i think you would know after about 3 seconds :angel:Quote:

Personally I react the same way with everyone. Shoot first, ask questions last.
That's one, very simple playstyle that some people choose to take.
my point was purely correcting how it worked in global agenda.
And brammers, even in global agenda the purely visual armour is still based on the class, it's just resists-based armour that is not related to the appearance.
how it should be for neocron I haven't really thought about so won't give an opinion on ;)
Hmm just been reading about this on BP. http://blackprophecy.gamigo.com/foru...ad.php?t=11025
The main points.
1) BP is likely to be released this week, providing there are no critical "critical defect"
2) There will be smaller add-ons throughout the year to add new content and features to the game.
3) New major feature is the "Walking on stations" due for release in "early" 2012.
One thing that is clear, KK will still have lots of resources working on BP. So where are the resources to work on NC2 or NC3?
I'm of course expecting lots of silence from KK on this....
