Really best bet is to go ahead with original plan.
Some people will actually lose their entire character if it gets rolled back the extra few weeks.
For the new player's sake (as in keeping them) - the 20th is probably the safest bet imo.
I'd rather keep 50 new players than give 100 vets some gear back, its easily reattainable whereas for a new player who's spent 40+ hrs killing rats and mutants - he/she will just go elsewhere.
Of course my own opinion.
So the current advice from KK is : Repeat something you were pretty annoyed to have to do once and we may or may not make you do it again tomorrow. We'll let you know....sometime.

all this trying to pleas everyone is total BS. From general opinions and the poll, around half will leave if you rollback to 20th image, half say they will leave if you take the 5th and allow a bit of extra time!

without knowing what data is in the relatively small snapshot its hard to know if it will work.. but why not copy saturn in its existing state onto one of the existing instances once it has been shutdown, then apply the 20th snapshot to that? when it comes to migrating across to nc2 they can pick either option as each is effectivly separate server. the possibility of a 5th sept and 20th sept char being migrated is somewhat minor.. damn typing all that on my mobile sucked!

I had my Pluto char setup on the 19th aswell, there's no reason you couldn't have too... For the event I was ready to join in, assuming that I'd hafta re organize myself afterwards. But the events never happened... So you shouldn't have had to make any changes.Quote:
