I am having the same problem.
We're aware of the problem and are working to resolve this ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience caused, I hope to see you all in game once we have resolved this issue.
The issue with creation is a global issue at our end.

Yup, issue still happening with me as well.
SAme problem here. name is already in use.
Same here, tons of names, most just nonsense/gibberish and they won't go through

Also effected but then again everyone is effected but I felt left out so yeah...
We've just applied a server side update which should resolve this problem. Please let us know if you encounter this again.
