I have to say I'm really looking forward to the new patching system you guys want to get into. I maybe don't understand its real purpose, but in my head it goes like this. Atm the SL system is unbearable, so much that I decided to leave my characters at -100SL and don't play them anymore, just occasionally.
Now I know something is getting put in place to fix that, but it might take some time and testing to get the new ideas working. But this doesn't mean we can't meanwhile change the critical situation we got at hand by quickly find a temporary fix, easy to patch, to try and make it better (I realize this kind of action still has to be discussed prior to patching on the NC forums).
