Hmm, speaking of anti-buff nanites , How about adding a Truesight nanite for PES ? Maybe working as a just single tick cast with larger radius then the PPU sanctum.

That would be lots more fun to use, we could have PEs running around sending "sonar pings" tryng to locate hidden spies. xD

Why not have them...

For example Int 58 35 psi and 95 imp.

That would keep them PE only and i could think of using them. At the moment theres no point since the insane amounts of focusing would kill my psi and its simply not worth it.

The problem is that imp req. So few PEs are going to spec it that it would be near non existant.

The same can be said of the Spy ones, though with those ther's a greater variety with more scope for a specific sub-class.

FCS 91 is a bit high ure right, sth between 50 and 60 would be better.

One thing about using the implant skill, is there will no longer be a shortage of pokers.

I still need to mess around with them before I say I like them or not, but so far I think this idea looks very promising.

DJ - Since you would either choose to use either nanites or PSI, you would either spec IMP or PSU under int. You wouldn't spec both, since you can't use or receive Shelter/Deflector/Absorber when you are using nanites.

The requirements on spy and pe nanites are stupid, my mate was a hacker/fighter if he wants to use nanites he has to give up hacking for implanting! You CAN add a race requirement to it so why not do that? You do it for PA!

well afaik you have to choose between psi use uage and nanites

so if you dont want to spent points for nanites - use psi?

Adding class requirements feels to me like a cheap way out of doing it. Also, you're really going to need more requirement than 'private eye' class, otherwise the items will be too easy to use. On the other hand if you do add certain requirements you may as well just drop the class one since there are plenty of combinations only the PE class can achieve.

PEs don't need to spec PSU, neither do Spies (PSU does not affect dmg, range or frequency).
Few combat players are going to sacrifice their WEP for IMP. The only people I see using nanites in combat are specialised support Spies.

You are right, I was thinking with theNC2.1 formulas not the NC2.2 formulas. PSU just effects handling, and maybe your PSI pool (I can't find the NC2.2 formula anywhere)
