Lets start from scratch...
KK sends out "14-Day trial" disks to massive amounts of retailers (INCLUDING THE USA!!!!). These disks are sold for $2.99 each to cover costs of the CD's and a little extra. After a new customer purchases this CD and trys the game he will then be able to play the 14 days for no further cost. When the trial expires he then has the option to purchase an account for $19.99 which includes the first month free.

There should be a set goal for new content to be added to the game to give players of all experience something to do. IE: One new (random type) weapon, peice of armor, implant, ect per week. 1 new quest per week. One new patch per month. Bug fix patches ASAP.
Also as for content we really need something done about the massive amount of zones that have no use what-so-ever. There are countless zones I have been to over the years of my play time in NC since beta that still have no content within them. We should add some quests that make people venture into these places with special objectives to explore or find missing peices why there is no activity here. There are actually zones with no NPC or mobs even in them.

We really need to start adding the WoC content. There are skills that WoC isnt even thought about being part of. IE: Int WoC... We can go as far as WoC 5 if I am not mistaken and we dont even have enough content for WoC 1. We need WoC content on levels 1,2,3,4 and 5.
Lets say something like...
WoC 1 is for weapons, WoC 2 is for implants/armor, WoC 3 is for +skill multipliers (such as having a bonus to whatever you select like +HC or +CST), WoC 4 is for implant/armor specialization (which makes your implants/armor 25% better), WoC 5 is for damage/healing or tradeskill bonus (such as 25% boost to damage/healing or condition for building weapons (maybe the caps raised on damage/ aiming/ freq/ handling ect)).

Cajun is probably my favourite OP to fight at. Its relatively flat, so there is minimal clipping. The hackterm is a good distance from the UG and the surounding hills are great for snipers and droners to hide in. I love it :DQuote:

Thats the point really. Can you just make a char and go OP fight, or do you have to level it up to near cap? Can you run into a fight with a nOOb knife and expect to prevail, or do you need the best weapon you can use? There will always be something you need to achieve to get to the "cap" to be equal to someone else.Quote:

Yes you do have to level to near cap to stand a chance. But you can pvp with a character that isnt capped, its not essential, although it does give you an advantage. Just as the current WoC weapons and armor give you an advantage, but these also are not essential. There are several weapons that can be better than the WoC weapons, how many people do you see using the reaper assualt rifle? Your example of bonii to damage and armor would make the higher woc levels essential in my eyes. I don't like the idea of capping (160million total xp) and then getting to woc5 to be able to pvp effectively (1160million total xp!) The grind would be unbearable.
And you are right, not everyone is the same level of skill. But thats the whole point of fighting, the competition, the finding out who is the best, who has the most skill.

WoC does give an advantage in PvP so it should be reviewed. Look at the Spy PA for example, it enables a better Dissy setup that just is not possible using standard Spy PA because of the extra Dex bonus no Int/End malus.
Suggestions and wishes? Hmm a automated poker in p1 for sure. Or some type of automated machine that pokes at a price. Nothing is worse after a huge pvp battle and no poker around to get you back into battle. Its a snowfall effect, no poker= bored= logging= eventually cancel account. Keep the customers in game IMO.

These are only a few simple ideas I can come up with. Another idea to develop neocron further would be to allow the players to make things for the games. Sound files, new graphics, new textures and NPC dialogue. There was a time when we could mod the game but this has ceased.
I'm not saying patches aren't hard to implement already, but we can at least have an efficient work load.
What would be an ideal patch that would be simple to implement?

there has to be a possibility to gain strength for a PE. At the Moment u have to drug and wear the regant melee pa for using the tl84 Tangent Plasma Weapon which is actually nonrare. U were able to use the Cursed Soul as a PE in NC2.1, but now it is not even possible to reach the smallest rare HC Weapon (which is the little hacknet flamethrower).
I'd be happy if they fixed melee, but a runspeed cap would destroy any advantage many melee builds have :o
