New oldtimer with some questions

Hi guys.

I was involved with Neocron back around its release but only for a fairly short time. So consider me a total newbie in every way. Im thinking of getting into the game again so id love it if you guys can bring me up to speed on whats going on now a days?

Whats the server pops? How the future looking?
Whats with the Reakktor website countdown, have anything to do with Neocron?


Anything to aid me before diving into this oldtimer again, the one single MMO (aside from planetside1) that left a real impression on me.

The server population is somewhat on the low end I'd guess... that being that it doesn't seem THAT full, but it IS full enough so that there is always someone to chat with.

The future, in my opinion looks quite nice :) It is now a community run effort with some big things in the works (balancing, retexturing/remodeling etc) and I am unsure about this count down.
